Before we talk more about the Realme Watch 3 Pro, let’s see what on-paper specs look like:

Starting with the design, the Realme Watch 3 Pro looks like any other stylish smartwatch with a rectangle-shaped dial on the market. The smartwatch is available in two different colour options: Black and Grey. I have the former for the review which looks really good on the hands.

Giving it a closer look, you can see it has a glossy finish on the edges which gives it a premium look. However, these edges are fingerprint magnets, so be ready to wipe it every now and then.

The watch is made of plastic material but doesn’t feel cheap at all. It comes with silicone straps which are soft and comfortable to wear for long durations. Moreover, these straps are detachable, meaning it can be switched with any other 22mm straps on the market.

In addition to that, the watch feels pretty lightweight, weighing just about 41.5 grams. I wore it continuously for 4 days without having any issues.

The right has a microphone along with a physician button which can be used for navigation and power on. On the left, you will see two speaker grills for Bluetooth calling.

The back is completely made of plastic and has standard sensors for health monitoring and magnetic charging pins. Moreover, it comes with IP68 certification for water resistance. This means the watch can survive being underwater for up to 30 minutes for a maximum of 1.5 meters.

Talking about the battery, the Realme Watch 3 Pro packs a 345mAh battery. Realme claims the smartwatch can last for 10 days on a single charge with casual use. However, things were pretty different from what the company claims.

I used the watch continuously for about 4 days and my battery stands at 36 per cent at the time of writing this review. I expect it to last roughly 2 more days before I have to charge it again. The brightness was set to 60 per cent and Bluetooth calling was enabled along with 24 hours Heart Rate monitoring (every 5 minutes).

Yes, I was using the watch more than just casual use, so you can expect a better battery life if you are a normal user.

Coming over to charging, the watch comes with a magnetic charging dock which takes about 2 hours to fully charge the watch from0 to 100 per cent. Yep, it’s a bit longer than expected, but it doesn’t matter since it lasts about a week easily.

The Realme Watch 3 Pro features a big 1.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 368×448 pixels. In short, I would just say that the display is just amazing. The colours are lively and the texts appear clear and sharp.

It comes with a peak brightness of 500 nits which was enough for outdoor visibility. You can also adjust the brightness in the settings which goes from 20% till 100%. However, there is no auto-brightness feature since it misses out on the ambient sensor.

There are some really handy display features like Flashlight, Raise to Wake and Always on Display. Currently, the AoD is limited to only two styles, but hopefully, we’ll see some more coming over the future updates.

You can also set the screen on time of the watch from 5sec to 15sec, after which the display will automatically turn off to save battery. The display has some really chunk bezels all around it. I recommend using a black background watch face to make it look more appealing.

Talking about watch faces, are a bunch of watch faces that you can select from the companion app, while the watch comes with 5 pre-loaded watch faces.

The Realme Watch 3 Pro comes loaded with health and fitness features. It is loaded with 110+ fitness modes so that you can track whatever physical activity you wish. This includes Outdoor run, Outdoor walk, Indoor walk, Outdoor cycle, Indoor run, Strength training, Football, Basketball, Table tennis, Badminton, Indoor cycle, Elliptical machine, Yoga, and many more.

I used the Strength training mode while going to the gym, which gave me all the details about my calories burnt, avg Heart rate, duration and more. It can also automatically detect when you are doing some sort of physical exercise and prompt you to choose an activity.

It comes with a built-in GPS to track your outdoor activities even if you don’t have your phone. The GPS tracking was pretty accurate, and you can see the details on the Realme Link app.

There are standard health features like 24/7 Heart Rate monitoring, SpO2 monitoring, Stress monitoring and Sleep tracking. It tracks awake time, deep sleep, light sleep, and REM. All the readings I got were pretty accurate and on par with my Mi Band 5.

However, there was one weird thing with the sleep tracking. I placed it on the bed for half an hour and it detected it as a Nap.

The Realme Watch 3 Pro runs on a simple yet feature-rich UI. Pairing the watch with your smartphone is also easy, thanks to Bluetooth v5.3. You can install the Realme Link app on your Androind and iOS devices to fully use the smartwatch features.

The UI is pretty easy to use. Swiping up shows all the notifications, while swiping down presents a set of shortcuts like DND, brightness, power saving mode, flashlight, and settings. Swiping to the right and left shows the apps like a Step tracker, Heart Rate Monitoring, Weather, Music controls, and Sleep tracking.

You need to have the companion app to see the details of all the health and fitness tracking.

You can press the physical button to bring up the app drawer, where you can scroll through the apps and settings. This includes Activity, Phone, Workout, Heart Rate, SpO2, Sleep, Alarm, Tools and more.

The tools section has the features like a Stopwatch, Timer, Music control, Camera control, Find my Phone and Flashlight. I appreciate having all of these features, and they worked really well.

You can also pick and make calls directly from the Realme Watch 3 Pro, which is the biggest feature of this watch. You get a built-in speaker and mic so you can directly talk through the watch without taking out your phone from the pocket.

Talking about the call quality, it’s just average and does the job. The volume is decently loud and clear. While the other person doesn’t get the best audio because the watch picks up noise, it’s a good feature to have in this price range.
